Why your WordPress takes 6 seconds (and how to get to 0.8)
It’s not your hosting. It’s the 34 plugins, the theme with 400 KB of CSS and the database queried 80 times per page.

Every time someone opens your site, WordPress builds the page from scratch: queries the database, runs every plugin, processes the theme, and only then starts sending HTML. With a commercial theme and 30 plugins, that’s easily 3 to 6 seconds before the first pixel.
Google measures this with Core Web Vitals. The “good” LCP threshold is 2.5 seconds. Most service sites we audit sit between 4 and 8.
The way out isn’t another caching plugin. It’s serving pre-built HTML from a CDN: the site is generated once and delivered from the server closest to the visitor. No database in the way, no PHP, nothing to execute.
